Funky Fruits Slot Review
The first thing you will notice when you play Funky Fruits slots is the structure:
- 5 Reels
- 5 Rows!
- No pay lines!
There is a total of 25 fields where the fruit symbols land. In order to win a prize, at least five symbols need to be connected. How do they connect if there are no pay lines you may asking yourself, and it is very simple!
Same symbols need to be adjacent and “touch” one another. Keep in mind that it needs to occur either vertically or horizontally. Diagonal signs cannot connect.
At least five adjacent icons are required to activate the minimal prize, while every array with over 16 of a kind results in huge prizes!
Symbols
There are six different signs available:
- Watermelon – Up to x50
- Blueberry – Up to x100
- Pineapple – Five times more valuable than blueberry at the top
- Orange – Double the previous one for 16+
- Lemon – x500
- Cherry – x50, x500, x2000 or a Jackpot!
They are listed according to their value, starting from watermelon and ending with a cherry in respective order starting from the one that awards the lowest amounts.
It is obvious that the double cherry sign is the most valuable one because any combination that includes 8 or more of a kind awards the Jackpot! The Jackpot amount is shown in the orange area right next to the reels, and once the required amount of symbols connect, the prize is won!
Rolling Reels & Bet Span
The interesting thing about the reels is that the feature that is sometimes called “Rolling Reels” is implemented. What it does is that when a winning combination lands anywhere on the screen, the symbols that were included in that combination make a cool effect and then explode and disappear from the reels creating blank spaces.
When all of the wins are calculated and there are no more combinations, the remaining symbols will move in order to fill in the blanks, while the new ones are going to drop down until the whole machine is filled with fruits once again.
This allows gamblers to accumulate more than one combination in a single round. All of the combinations, the amount of connected symbols and separate prize values are shown on the left side, right across the surfboard. When there are no more combinations, all of the prizes are summed up and transferred to your balance.
There are four different stake levels and each one pays out a percentage of the Jackpot if eight or more cherries appear.
